FAQ

Q: How can you tell if a run was done during the qualifying period?

A: One Player must type the word ‘TOURNAMENT’ in the chat prior to the run to ensure it was done within the event period.

Q: Can I participate without trying to compete in the playoffs?

A: Yes! Teams may enter for participation prizes without having to abide by a stricter ruleset.

Q: How will playoffs work?

A: Teams will face off in a single-elimination bracket to determine a winner for each match. All three dungeons will be completed by each team every round. The fastest combination of times will advance.

Q: What if I didn’t get to submit in time?

A: Teams have until January 30th, 5PM PST, to run their fastest times and submit. No submissions will be accepted after the qualifying period has finished.

Q: Can I submit more than once?

A: Yes, you can submit multiple runs if you happen to get faster times. We will take the fastest times into consideration.

Q: What if I have separate VODs for all three dungeons?

A: You may submit more than one link at a time if you happen to have separate uploads.

Q: What if my roster needs to change?

A: If your team changes, you may register again. Players may only compete with one team. Your most recent team registration will be the one that counts. Rosters MUST be accurate or they will not be counted.

Q: What if I qualify for the playoffs but one of my teammates can no longer make it?

A: Playoff qualifying teams will be allowed one substitute that may replace a player if they are unable to attend. This player must compete in the entire playoffs; they may not rotate in/out with others.

Q: What quality does the video need to be that is submitted?

A: The video quality must be high enough to see that the rules are being followed. The submission will not count if we are unable to see the gameplay clearly.
